First airplanes landed at international Platov airport

First airplanes landed at international Platov airport Jetliner Azimut and Rossiya airline’s airplane were landed at the new international Platov airport. About a hundred honorable guests arrived from the operating airport of Rostov-on-Don on the Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane of the Azimut airline. Among the first passengers of the Platov airport are the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation - Maxim Sokolov, the Governor of the Rostov Region - Vasily Golubev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Renova Group - Viktor Vekselberg, representatives of federal services and agencies, the executive and legislative authorities of the region, law enforcement agencies and regional media. The first flight from Moscow was made on the plane A-319 of the airline Rossiya, which is symbolically named "Rostov-on-Don". Representatives of Rosaviatsia, with the head of the agency Alexander Neradko, representatives of the project partners and industry media arrived on board of the airline.

Platov International Airport is a major infrastructure project in Rostov province. The airport is built in Aksaysky district of Rostov province, 4 km north of Grushevskaya Station.
