Platov airport is getting ready for start-up operation

Rosaviatsiya issued a permit to commission all the construction facilities of the Platov airport complex. The new passenger terminal and the technical offices are ready to serve passengers and airlines.

The investor completed construction works at the Platov airport, received conclusions on the construction readiness and acts of commissioning.

As part of the construction of the Platov airport, the following facilities have been built: the terminal of domestic and international air lines with a total area of ​​50,000 square meters with a capacity of 1,740 passengers per hour equipped with 9 boarding bridges; an administrative and technological complex with a crew briefing room, special transport and repair service building, state control bodies, a Duty Free warehouse, a production and domestic building, a cynological service building, a logistics warehouse, a boiler room, a cargo terminal, landscaping and public amenities. The new Rostov-on-Don airport, built "from scratch" for the first time in the history of modern Russia, will start workin in December 2017.

RegStaer is the operator of several Duty free and Duty paid stores at the new Platov airport:

• Two Duty free stores in international flights departure area;
• Duty free store in international flights arrival area;
• Two Duty paid stores in domestic flights departure area.
