Vnukovo international airport served 20 million people for the first time in history. «Record passenger» was served on the flight A9-929 Moscow (Vnukovo) - Tbilisi on the flight of the airline «Georgian Airlines». Deputy General Director for Commerce Anton Victorovich Kuznetsov and General director of Moscow office of the airline «Georgian Airlines» Nino Tamazovna Gaiashvili made a welcoming speech at the solemn event.

Vnukovo airport served 18139000 passengers in 2017 and this figure was reached on October 25 in 2018. Thus, passenger traffic will exceed 20 million at Vnukovo airport in 2018, which will be an absolute record for the airport.
