RegStaer celebrates its 20th anniversary
In December 2018, RegStaer Group of Companies celebrates its landmark anniversary: 20 years of successful operating activities in duty free and travel retail industry. Throughout our 20-year journey, the main priority and source of inspiration for us has been and remains you, our customers. That is why we want to share our joy with you, and we hasten to tell you RegStaer's story of its success in Russia, firsthand.
RegStaer company was founded in 1998 and its history started with an opening of its first duty free shop in terminal F of Sheremetyevo International Airport.
The important step in the Company’s further development was the launch of a new project: a duty-free shop at Vnukovo International Airport in 2005. The same year RegStaer opened its first boutique of Italian luxury brand Stefano Ricci in the very heart of Moscow on Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street.
2012 was a special year in the company’s history. It was then that Dufry company - the largest international operator of travel retail – became the General Partner of RegStaer Group of Companies and co-owner of a share of its stock. During the same period, RegStaer won its status of the leading duty-free operator in the new state-of-the-art terminal A of Vnukovo International Airport. Our first shops offering perfumery and cosmetics, watches and jewelry, alcohol and food opened in Terminal A’s international departures area.
Since 2016, RegStaer Group of Companies has become a co-owner of Aero Region company, which operates duty-free shops at airports in Russian cities Rostov-on-Don and Mineralnye Vody. And as early as in 2017, Aero Region won a tender for the right to conclude lease agreements for the placement and operation of duty-free shops in the departure and arrival areas at the new Platov international airport in Rostov-on-Don.
As of today, more than 50 RegStaer stores are operated at Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Platov, and Mineralnye Vody airports located in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, and Mineralnye Vody.
RegStaer is proud of the diversity and design of its stores. In addition to the stores that offer the key categories of duty-free goods, the company is launching new exciting store concepts, including unique children's shops Toys & Sweets using interactive grounds, a monobrand Natura Siberica boutique, as well as dedicated boutiques of the popular American brand Victoria's Secret. In 2017, we opened shops of niche and selective perfumery Haute Parfumerie, Young Fashion salon of youth clothes, Michael Kors boutique, Hudson shops, Master of Time by RegStaer watch boutique, and e-Moscow by RegStaer electronics store. All stores are designed to meet the most stringent requirements of the retail business, and they welcome travelers in the comfortable, modern and premium-style retail spaces.

The range of our goods, including the world's leading brands of men’s and women’s clothing, stylish jewelry, watches, writing materials, glasses, bags, luggage, toys, shoes and accessories, luxury perfumes and cosmetics, alcohol, tobacco and confectionery from leading manufacturers, will satisfy the most sophisticated traveler. Most of these goods are unique and rare products that can give their owners an extra touch of elegance and emphasize their high status. Some of our brands are available in the Russian market on the exclusivity basis, as for other brands, RegStaer boasts their widest assortments in Moscow.
